The Protestant Church in Baden launches prototype phase with ISIDOR
Second regional church tests system under real conditions
With the launch of a prototype project, the Evangelical Church in Baden (EKIBA) is focusing on a practical trial of ISIDOR. The aim is to test the system in everyday church life and evaluate its suitability for central requirements such as organizational structures, personal roles and relationship logics.

What is ISIDOR used for in the national church?
In the prototype project, ISIDOR is used to map central church data structures and make them accessible.
- These include, among others:
- Church organizational units and facilities
- Full-time employees and volunteers
- Roles, functions and responsibilities
- Relationships and connections between people and organizations
ISIDOR makes it possible to manage this information centrally and display it on various digital channels. These can include websites, internal systems or other digital platforms, for example.
ISIDOR can thus form an important building block for digitization projects within EKIBA.
Procedure of an ISIDOR prototype project
An ISIDOR prototype project is used to evaluate the platform in a real organizational environment.
The most important framework conditions:
- Test phase: 6 to 9 months
- License: free use during the test phase
- Consulting: 25 person days
- Price: Fixed price for the consulting contingent
During this phase, organizations can implement specific use cases and test how well ISIDOR can be integrated into existing digital structures.
